The Expert Power Control 8045-Series is a network-compatible power distribution unit with 12 power ports on the back. The connected loads can be switched on or off as required and the total power consumption per power port can be monitored, making the PDU a must-have in AV and IT installations, as well as small data centers.

The power ports of the Expert Power Control 8045-Series can be switched seperately via web interface, serial interface, SNMP or the button on the device. SNMPv3, SSL and IPv6 as well as Telnet, Radius and Modbus TCP are supported. The PDU has two integrated energy counters per power port, whereas one counter is resettable. The metering of a wide range of electrical variables enables the user to identify and exploit power-saving potential in the IT environment for every connected individual load. In addition, the user receives warning messages when fault currents occur (residual current measurement type A). This enables preventive maintenance measures to be taken even before downtimes occur.
